Carlos Hernandez
Carlos Hernandez is a professor of English at the Borough of Manhattan Community College (CUNY) and a fictioneer who doesn’t believe in the word “genre”: he writes everything from schlocky sci-fi to modern morality tales to neo-Burroughsian word-labyrinths to—most disturbing of all—academic papers. His most recent work, due out in early 2008 from Chiasmus Press, is a cut-up collaborative novel called Abecedarium. You should buy it. Carlos and Spiderman both live in Queens.
